Picture spending a peaceful sunny day outside at a Park with family and friends. Suddenly a bystander collapses. Would you know what to do? Do you know who to call? What if no one around knew how to help this person?
Kinloch Fire Protection District personnel offers Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training using the American Heart Association Heartsaver curriculum. After completing the training, individuals receive a 2 year certification and are better prepared to handle many types of medical emergencies. CPR buys critical time while personnel trained in advanced care are en route to the scene. This greatly increases an individual’s chance of survival. In addition to CPR training, the student will learn how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator or AED.
